CLICK HERE FOR DESCRIPTION & SAMPLES, BOOKS & LOGS Take a new look at baseball this season with BASEBALL INSIGHT BOOKS AND LOGS ON CD! Ourstats and articles have helped bettors, selection services and baseball writers since 1982. Many concepts were pioneered by editor Phil Erwin and are still exclusive to Baseball Insight. Many of our customers have been with us for five, ten, even 20 seasons. They bring good judgment, we provide good information, so they win, in the difficult sport of picking winners v. the line. If you follow the herd and use the ordinary baseball and handicapping stats, you will support the enrichment of the sports books, just as the herd does.
Baseball is a long season, and the bettor must have good information of the right kind to pick and choose his best spots. Our books & the now-online newsletter help bettors make money and have some fun while doing so. No touts, no ads, and no bull here. Just solid handicapping information, team & pitcher past performance and current form, line results and more. Take a look! "Luck is the residue of design" - Branch Rickey

2009 Message to Baseball Insight Subscribers The Baseball Insight newsletter, both the website (here) and the paper/USMail edition will NOT be published during the 2009 season. It is doubtful that it will be revived,.although if I can, I may put team and pitcher stats in here IF (and it is a big if) I do start accumulating them. They will be without charge. Send me your email address if i do not already have it to get an email alert if/when there are stat updates. As of right now, there are no members, and clicking on the (MEMBERS) link above will get anyone in the site without a password. NO PASSWORDS ARE NECESSARY and old passwords are gone. The site is now FREE. What is in the members start page are the special articles and charts from the past season, some of which are generally useful and can be helpful any time. There are no stats on the team pages or in the log page. All those, in much more detail and with additional material, can be found in the two books, the Annual and Pitching Aces. I urge you to buy those - for team v. team and pitcher v. team past data. In many ways the books have been the best thing I have done. Logs are of course available on CD. Sales of this year's books and CDs will determine whether I do them next year. Old editions of the Annual and older years of the Logs are available but you need to call me at the office for them. I have had a great time for 27 seasons with the weekly newsletter. But in recent years it has become more work, less fun, and less money. That is a deadly combination. Publishing three times per week (twice on the web, once on paper) meant that I could not take many days off, and could not fall behind on stats, odds, pitchers, etc. The day-after-day-after-dayness of it was getting a little old, and burnout was on the horizon. So I decided to do my traveling in the spring and summer and become more of a fan again. Baseball Insight has been "very, very good" to me, and thank you all again for your business and kindness over the years. Books and Logs on CD available in early 2009... See at left ... May you win all future bets! -Phil
