Many opportunities for bettors lie ahead! Almost seven months of games, over 2400. The first post will use 2007 team and pitcher records to open the season. Remember that post-season games are included for 2007 playoff teams. New readers should see the Records Explanation.

We know that some pitchers listed in our pages will not be starting right way. We list our usual six starters per team, although many teams will not use even a fifth starter very often in April. As usual in this season-opener, we opt to use veterans with past performance records, as most rookies have 0-0 0.00 records. Rookies who make it will be in the first update, scheduled for the first Friday of the season.  We may be changing some pitchers, due to trades, injuries, etc.

Another chart details records of traded starters in starts at their new team's home over the past three seasons.

The 4/4 update will begin strictly 2007 season coverage in the team and seasonal records of the pitchers. We will continue to have the final 2007 stats in a separate file.

Note our April pitchers chart. Every year some hurlers get off to good season starts and others founder for awhile.

Much of the early material is also available to non-subscribers. We need to attract business early in the season. Later, articles and charts will be exclusive to members. The 30 team stat pages are always members-only. We will add more charts and articles as the season approaches. Some  material from earlier seasons is still posted so you may see the type of articles & charts to come in the next few months.
